Anderson, SC A. Jeanette B. Lawing A. Jeanette Brannon Lawing, age 60 passed away at AnMed Health Medical Center on Friday, December 27, 2013. Born in Gainesville, Florida, Jeanette was a licensed cosmetologist. She enjoyed making various crafts. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Madison, Florida. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Steve Lawing; her children, Maria Eddleman and her husband Allen, Angela Cherry and her husband Ken; Steven Lawing and Christy Lawing; a granddaughter raised in the home, Alexis Workman; a niece Nicole Witham; Alexis Workman, and nine grandchildren, Carley and Alana Eddleman, Jessica and Daniel Cherry, Galaxy and Richie Lawing, Alexis, Bentley, and Christopher Workman; and a brother Richard Brannon. Jeanette was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Louise Winburn Brannon Buchanan; step-father Amos Buchanan; son, Christopher Lawing; brothers, Clifton and Skippy Brannon; and a sister Bernice Witham. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Frank Whitfield officiating. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
