Mrs. Barbara Kate Kiker Standeffer went home to be with her Lord on January 1, 2021, in Atlanta, GA. Born in Jasper, AL, on October 6, 1926, Mrs. Standeffer was a daughter of the late Thomas David Kiker and the late Josephine Morrison Kiker Wood, also of Jasper. She was a retired banker, having worked at First National Bank and First Federal Savings and Loan of Anderson, SC. Mrs. Standeffer was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anderson, SC, where she worked in the Children's Sunday School for nearly forty years. She was much beloved and known for the delicious meals at her table and for her beautiful sewing and needlework. Mrs. Standeffer is survived by her son, J. David Standeffer (Mary), of Anderson, SC; daughter, Barbara S. Naumann (Robert), of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Thomas Naumann (Becky), Mark Naumann, and Sarah Standeffer; and sister, Mrs. Jonell K. Banks of Jasper, AL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Standeffer; brothers, Sgt. James C. Kiker, USAF, and John David Kiker; and sister, Jean K. Wise. The funeral service will be a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Anderson, 307 S.
