WILLIE LEE BROWN July 30, 1923 - July 29, 2010BELTON, SCMrs. Willie Lee Brown, age 86, of 129 Stevenson Drive, wife of the late John Charles Brown, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Franklin County, GA on July 30, 1923, Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late William Leroy Green and Cola Husie Reynolds Green. She was a life long resident of Iva until she moved to Belton in 2004. She was a founding member of Iva Church of God of Prophecy Survivors include her sons, Major Lee Brown and James Wendell Brown, both of Iva; daughters, Patricia A. Martin of Belton and Cola M. McGill of Starr; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.In addition to her husband and parents, she predeceased by a son, Charles Jerome Brown; grandson, Jody McGill; four brothers and three sisters.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Iva Church of God of Prophecy officiated by the Reverends Stanley Campbell and Sam Duncan. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery.The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.Flowers are optional.
