Ms. Tomlinson was a graduate of Berry College and the University of Georgia. She was a retired Educator having taught English and also served as the Chairman of the English Department at Belton-Honea Path High School. She also taught on the college level at Forrest-Junior College. Ms. Tomlinson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Anderson. She was also a former President of the Northlake Home Owners Association.Ms. Tomlinson had recently moved her residence to Burlington, NC, to be near her brother, Tony J. Siceloff. Additionally, she is survived by a grandson, Irvin Ralph Thomas III (Trey) of Charles Town, West VA; and a nephew, Stanley A. Siceloff of Burlington, NC. She also has many cousins who survive in Iredell County, NC.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly Ann Newton. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 1pm until 2pm on Sunday, October 17, 2010. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:30 pm at New Silver Brook Cemetery, conducted by Dr. Dennis R.
