Myra Ellen Payne Hoffman, age 72, of Anderson, SC, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born October 18, 1948 in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Omer Roy Payne and Wille Ruth Freeman Payne. Myra was a 1966 graduate of T.L. Hanna High School and attended Southern Wesleyan University. She was the owner of Flowers Bakery in Seneca for many years and was also a bus driver for Anderson School District Five. Myra's family meant the world to her and she loved them dearly having a special place in her heart for her great grandchildren. She was a member of Capstone Church. She is survived by her children, Crystal Culbertson (Jody) of Starr, SC, and Roy "Chuck" Payne of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, William Miles (Andrea), Kelsey Culbertson (fianc Callum), Chase Culbertson (fianc Kelsie), and Garrison Bowen; and great grandchildren, Jaxon-Knox, Odie, Lakelyn, and Killian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Hilda J. Charping. The family will have a private service at a later date.
