Mrs. Myrl Elizabeth Bozeman, age 86, wife of L. R. 'Roy' Bozeman of 2414 Northview Avenue, Anderson, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at Anderson Place.Born in Anderson County on January 22, 1920, Mrs. Bozeman was a daughter of the late E. C. Griffith and the late L. B. Griffith. She was a retired seamstress and was a member of Pope Drive Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband, Roy Bozeman; sons, Jerry Bozeman and his wife Pat, Derby, Kansas, and Chris Bozeman and his wife Lynne, Mount Pleasant, SC; a sister, Sybil Smith, Route 1, Pelzer; two grandchildren, Liesel Sargent, Douglass, Kansas; Doug Bozeman, Wichita, Kansas; 2 step-grandchildren, Chris 'Mitch' Castleberry, Mobile, Alabama; Misty Darton, Phoenix, Arizona; and a great-grandchild, Juliana Darton.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Griffith and three sisters, Trudy Griffith, Velma Griffith and Naomi Pepper.The Funeral Service will be Friday, January 27, 2006, at 2:00 pm at Pope Drive Baptist Church with Reverend Ken Wright and Reverend Bill Rigsby officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Bozeman will be placed in the church at 1:00 pm on Friday.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, January 26, 2006, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.Flowers are optional.
