Bell, age 95, formerly of Belton, wife of the late Elmer P. Bell, died Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Exalted Health and Rehab of Iva.Born in Anderson on September 18, 1915, Mrs. Bell was the daughter of the late John W. McClellan and Minnie Gerrard McClellan. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Bell was a member of Triangle Baptist Church and was retired from Abney Mill of Belton.Survivors include her children, daughter Mary Ann Rumsey and her husband Baxter of Belton, son Ray P. Bell and his wife Claudine of Toccoa, GA; seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sons Elmer Lee Bell and nine-month old son Leon Ernest, brothers Guy and Roy McClellan, and sisters Lydia McClellan, Alice Garrison and Mary Blume.The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Andrew Webb officiating.
