KERR December 16, 1911 - February 1, 2007WILLIAMSTON, SCMrs. Myrtle Lipscomb Kerr, age 95, of 631 Mountain View Road, wife of the late Henry W. Kerr, died Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Ellenburg Nursing Center in Anderson.Born in Walhalla, SC on December 16, 1911, Mrs. Kerr was a daughter of the late James Andrew Lipscomb and Dora Amanda Callas Lipscomb. She was a member of River of Life Church of God, formerly McDuffie Street Church of God where she taught the Mother's Sunday School class and other classes for over fifty years. She was a homemaker. Survivors include sons, Gerald H. and wife, Barbara Kerr of Naples, FL, Larry A. Kerr of the home and Dwain M. and wife, Ann Kerr of Dalzell, SC; daughters, Rowena and husband, Gene Reynolds, Fair Play, SC and Elaine and husband, Jimmy Elrod of Williamston, SC; sister, Annie Chapman of Anderson, SC; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Luther Lipscomb and three sisters, Janie Williams, Agnes Lipscomb and Drucilla Lipscomb.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 3:00 pm at River of Life Church of God officiated by Dr. Stoney Abercrombie.
