MYRTLE SCOTT July 5, 1917 - June 19, 2013 ANDERSON, SC Myrtle Leona Jeanes Scott, age 95, of Anderson, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at NHC Healthcare of Anderson. Myrtle was the daughter of the late John Abner Jeanes and the late Effie Hallford Jeanes. She was employed with Orr Mill and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas. She loved flowers and her dogs. Myrtle was a member of Orrville Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Bobby Scott and his wife Sheryl, Billy Ray Scott and his wife Judy, Sara Harris, Evelyn Owens, and her husband Wayne, who was very special to Myrtle, and Mary Sue Harrison and her husband Harold, all of Anderson, SC; a sister, Willie Mae Martin; 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James H. "Buddy" Scott; one grandson; four brothers; and two sisters. The family will receive friends at Orrville Baptist Church on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM. The Funeral service will follow at the church, beginning at 3:00 PM with Dr. Wendell Bannister officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
