OBITUARY: Anderson, SC Nadine B. Brock Nadine B. Brock, age 81, of 140 Tanglewood Drive, died Saturday, March 22, 2014, at her residence. Born June 15, 1932, in Lavonia, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joe J. Burden and the late Inez Vaughn Burden. Mrs. Brock was a 1950 graduate of Anderson Girls High School. She served as an Administrative Assistant, and later as Director for Anderson County Emergency Preparedness Department from 1965 until her retirement in March 1998. Mrs. Brock served as a board member for the Pelzer Rescue Squad. She is survived by 2 daughters, Dianne Brock of the residence, and Deborah White of Orange Park, FL; and a granddaughter, Wendy White of Orange Park, FL. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate and honor the life of Nadine B. Brock will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverend Dwight Greene officiating.
