Mrs. Nan Curtis Haugland, 81 of Anderson, SC passed away on July 30th, 2016 at An-Med Health Medical Center in Anderson. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Violet Heller Curtis born on September 9th, 1934 in Bristol, Connecticut. Nan was the Salutatorian at Bristol Eastern High School. She was a graduate of The University of Connecticut. Mrs. Haugland worked as a teacher, retailer, and was most proud of the work she did to make a home for her sons and her husband. Surviving are her loving husband: Otto Stanley Haugland of Anderson, SC; her sons: Eric Haugland and his wife Theresa of Trophy Club, Texas, Clay Haugland of South Lake Tahoe, California, and Todd Haugland and his wife Jennifer of Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren: Brandon, Brett, Arkin, and Erin Haugland and two great grandchildren: Ledger and Bryar Haugland. A time for shared memories is planned for Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016 at The McDougald Funeral Home in Anderson from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. At other times the Haugland family will be at their residence.
