Nancy Pruitt Ashley, age 81, of Honea Path, SC, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born February 22, 1941, in Abbeville County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde S. Pruitt and Nora Lindsay Pruitt. She was married for over 59 years to Larry Dean Ashley until his death in 2016. Nancy was a faithful follower of Christ and a life-long member of Keowee Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy A. Hall (Stanley), Vickie A. Bowie (Lewis), and Renee A. Harbin (special friend Ernie Minor) all of Honea Path; brother, Roddy Pruitt (Vera) of Honea Path; grandchildren, Rev. Heath Bowie (Denise), Heather Cox (Jimmy), Retired Specialist Matthew Hall, US Army (Andrea), Chris Hall, and Ashley Rollins (Rev. Stephen); great grandchildren, Kaleigh Bowie, Corley Cox, Paisley Cox, Dylan Hall, Rowan Hall, Michael Brock, Todd Brock, and Donovan Brock; and great-great grandchild, Krisleigh Bowie. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Nancy Ashley will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 11:00 am at Keowee Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Lee and Rev. Heath Bowie officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 am. The family will be at the residence, 707 Highway 185 N., Honea Path, SC until 8:00 pm.
