Nancy Webb Johnston Bobo, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Born in Anderson, SC on July 14, 1930, she was the daughter of the late William C. Johnston and the late Sara Power Johnston. She received a bachelor's degree from Winthrop College. Nancy was a school teacher for more than 30 years teaching in Anderson County Schools. She enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of several bridge clubs. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, which she loved dearly and had recently joined The Happy Group. She is survived by her children, Eugene F. Bobo, Jr. and his wife Diane, of Anderson, SC, William Calhoun Johnston Bobo, of Clinton, SC and Julie Bobo Davis and her husband Jerry, of Anderson, SC; sisters, Anne Johnston Doyle of Anderson and her late husband, Cary Doyle, and Peggy Johnston Hendrix and her husband Bill; nine grandchildren, Brent Whitmire, Katie Wilkinson and her husband Cory, Lori Bobo, Jessie Davis, Gracie Bobo, Taylor Davis, Angel Bobo, Charlie Bobo, and Parker Anne Davis; and one great granddaughter, Penelope Wilkinson. In addition to her parents, and brother-in-law, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Foster Bobo, Sr., and her son, Charles Andrew Bobo, Sr. and his wife Bonnie. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Julie Davis at 511 Allenby Road, Anderson, SC and will receive friends at the funeral home, prior to the service on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Johns United Methodist Church, 515 South McDuffie Street, Anderson, SC 29624.
