Mrs. Nancy Simmons Bright, 61, of LaFrance, SC died on Sunday morning February, 26, 2017 at An-Med Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Bonnie Tredaway Simmons born in Anderson, SC on April 25, 1955. She was a member of West Anderson Church of God and was a Supervisor at Milliken and Company. Nancy is survived by her husband: Larry Calvin Bright of their home; one daughter: Ladelle Martin of LaFrance, SC; five grandchildren: Kristen McClure, Cordell Rogers, and Kyle, Drake, and Carter Martin; three great grandchildren: Shawn, Stella, and River; three sisters: Windell Atkins of LaFrance, SC, Martha Broome of Anderson, SC, and Lynn Dobson of Central, SC. In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by her son: Kane Martin, and three brothers: David, Lane, and Gary Simmons. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Mark Daniel officiating. The Bright family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at their respective homes.
