Nancy Dora Dyar Morgan, age 73, of 1701 Old Trail Drive, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson on February 13, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Manuel Dyar and the late Blanche Lucille Byrum Dyar. Nancy was a graduate of Girls High School, Class of 1960, and was employed as an assembler at Singer Ryobi.
Survivors include two daughters whom she loved dearly, Pamela Keith and her husband, Tony, and Nancy Riendeau and her husband, Don, both of Anderson; two brothers, Donald Dyar and his wife, Carolyn, and Ray Dyar and his wife, Glenda, both of Anderson; two sisters, Margie Compton and her husband, James, of Woodruff, SC, and Mary Pettus of Anderson; four grandchildren, Derreck Martin, Lauren Slater, Joshua Crawford, and Amber Crawford, all of Anderson; also surviving are eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Lynn Crawford; a sister, Louise Powell, and a brother, Billy Joe Dyar.
A Memorial Service celebrating and honoring the life of Nancy Morgan will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the home of Pam and Tony Keith, 1123 Crestview Road, Anderson. All friends are invited and asked to bring a covered dish.
