Vickery of 2201 West Whitner Street, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson, SC, Mrs. Vickery was a daughter of the late Winford Jones and Lois Jones Simpson. She retired from RYOBI after twenty years of service. Mrs. Vickery was a member of the Homeland Park Baptist Church where she attended the Grace Sunday School Class.In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Marion Jones and his wife, Shirley of Anderson; a sister, Geraldine Whitfield of Starr, SC; seven nephews and three nieces and her faithful four-legged friend, 'Jackson'.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Calvin Simpson and her sister, Martha Jane Jones.The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 2:00 pm officiated by the Reverend Dr. Wayne Dickard, the Reverend Larry Cox and the Reverend U.C. Neill.
