Naomi "Mimi" Maldonado Anderson, SC Naomi "Mimi" Maldonado, age 39, of Anderson, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014. Born in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of Abiasaph Maldonado and Diana E. Rodriguez. She enjoyed working at Walmart Store 396 for 10 years. Mimi loved art and was very artistic. She was a member of Redemption World Outreach Center in Greenville. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Jeremiah E. Acevedo and Joshua N. Smith; a brother, Abiasaph Maldonado, Jr. and his wife Estella; two sisters, Marisol Thomason and her husband James and Cathy Maldonado; 11 nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Felicita Rickett. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at her mother's residence and will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family would like to express their appreciation to Walmart Store #396 for their kindness, love, acts of benevolence, and also promoting cancer awareness to the Anderson Community on behalf of Naomi during her illness.
