HUGHES July 11, 1921 - March 18, 2011ANDERSON, SCNeal Howard Hughes, age 89, husband of Marketer Partridge Hughes, of 504 Old Asbury Road, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at his residence.Born in LaGrange, GA on July 11, 1921, he was the son of the late William Henry Hughes and Mattie Valerie Crawford Hughes. Mr. Hughes graduated High School in Greenwood, SC and was a United States Army World War II veteran. He worked in the textile industry for many years. He is survived by his wife of the home, his children: Anita W. Bolt; Samuel H. Watson and his wife, Sara; Ronald M. Watson and his wife, Dedra and Jane H. Bente and her husband, Gary; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of Anderson.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Berry Hughes and Shirley Hughes.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel officiated by the Reverend Larry Cox, with entombment following.The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.A message of condolence may be sent by visiting www.mcdougaldfuneralhome.comTHE MC DOUGALD FUNERAL HOME, Anderson, SC
