Neile Ann Greenway Manning, age 53, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Born October 27, 1972, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Joe and Patti C. Greenway.

Neile was a graduate of Westside High School, attended Columbia College, and received her Bachelor of Service Work from Winthrop University. She was a licensed social worker and formerly worked with the Sheperd Center in Atlanta, GA. When she returned to Anderson, she worked for AnMed before moving into the private care industry. Her life’s passion was helping people. She was intelligent and “always right.” Neile never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to others, always learning about them along the way. One of her favorite pastimes was relaxing on the lake. Her most important role in life was being a mother to her boys.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Shanon Manning; sons, William Seth Manning and Tatum Joe Manning; sister, Jodee Greenway (fiancé Brantley Garrett); and her 4-legged friends, Surcey and Cabo.

A private family gathering will be held at The McDougald Funeral Home.
