NELLE WILLIAMS September 3, 1925 - November 18, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Nelle Gailey Williams, 83, of 1200 Stonehurst Drive, wife of the late Harry Thomas Williams, died on Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Born in Starr, SC on September 3, 1925, Mrs. Williams was a daughter of the late Harley David Gailey and Lucille Findley Gailey. She retired after 40 years of service from Perpetual Savings & Loan Association as a Public Relations Vice President. She was an active member of St. John's United Methodist Church where she attended the Victor Caudle Sunday School class, Circle 5, and the Happy Group. She was a member of the Anderson County Woman's Club and the Carousel Club.Survivors include her daughter, Tricia Thomas and her husband, Charlie of Greenville; three grandsons, Chas, Joe and Will Thomas and a sister, Mattie Rowland of Pendleton.She was predeceased by one sister and three brothers.The family would like to thank Ruby Bryant Brown for her loving care of Nelle.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday November 21, 2008 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Dr. William R. Childs. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.The family will be at their respective homes.Memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church 515, S.
