Born in Iva, SC, on May 7, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Jessie Reid McGee and the late Jessie Lillian Hamby McGee. Mrs. Baugus was a seamstress and a member of Iva ARP Church. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanie Baugus of Iva, SC; brother, J.R. McGee and his wife, Yvonne of Iva; sisters, Peggy Glover of Lincolnton, GA and Amanda Brown and her husband, Max of Hartwell, GA; grandchildren, Suzanne Fleming Lowe and her husband James, of Abbeville, and Russell Fleming and his wife Tabitha of Taylors, SC; great-grandchildren, Jayce Fleming and Chance Fleming; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Elaine Baugus; and a brother, Pringle McGee. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Hardy officiating. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery. The family will be at the home, 1029 W. Broad Street, Iva, and will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm prior to the service.
