Nellie Cobb Campbell, age 88, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital Downtown in Greenville, SC.

Born September 19, 1937, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late George Macon Getsinger and Ollie Mae Davis Getsinger. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Cobb; second husband, Denver Davis; third husband, Charles Johnson; and fourth husband, Rev. Cecil Campbell; and sister-in-law, Malava Getsinger.

Nellie was a Tupperware manager for 19 years, a job she dearly loved. She was a member of High Praises Church. She had a caring heart and was always helping others in need. She enjoyed lunches with her girlfriends and was known for her wonderful pecan pie. Most of all, she loved her family and could never get enough time with them.

She is survived by her son, David Cobb-Burr (Barbara); stepdaughters, Didi Humphries and Gina Stephens (George); brothers, Johnny Getsinger (Linda) and Ron Getsinger; sister, Peggy Timmerman Vance (Gary); grandchildren, Mattie Sandoval (Cristian), William Cobb, and Samuel Cobb; (6) step grandchildren, (10) step great grandchildren, and (4) step great-great grandchildren; and over (50) cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 4:30-6:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 2:00 pm at High Praises Church. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
