Nellie Hayes Anderson, SC Nellie Wilbanks Hayes, age 90, of Andeson, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Westminster, SC, on February 12, 1924, she was the daughter of the late E.J. Wilbanks and the late Bessie Ramey Wilbanks. She retired from Glen Raven after many years of service. Nellie was a member of Grace Memorial Church. She is survived by her children, Larry Michael Hayes and his wife Diane, of Belton, James Oliver Hayes and his wife Judy, of Anderson and Janice Shirley and her husband Donnie, of Anderson; a brother, Earl Wilbanks, of Anderson; three sisters, Ruth Tiller and Ruby Shaw of Anderson and Betty Shank of Lawrenceville, IL; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl C. Hayes; seven brothers, three sisters and one grandson. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Duncan and Reverend Mark Dickson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at 1401 Hunters Trail, Anderson and will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday night, March 5, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
