MOUCHET October 11, 1909 - August 13, 2006STARR, SCMs. Nellie Frances Mouchet, age 96 of 300 Bill Mouchet Road, Starr, SC died Sunday, August 13, 2006 at Willow Creek Living Center in Iva, SC.Born in Iva, SC on October 11, 1909, Ms. Mouchet was the daughter of late William L. Mouchet and Elizabeth Rampey Mouchet. She was a graduate of Lander College and received her master's degree from the University of South Carolina. She taught school for forty-four years and thirty-nine of those years for Anderson County School District Five. She was a member of Starr Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister, Elinor M. Shaner and her husband, Fred Shaner of Greenwood, SC; six nieces and one nephew and sister-in-law, Rubye Mouchet of Anderson, SC.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Wilkes, John Rhett, William D., Webb and Alfred Mouchet and a sister, Clementine M. Eardley.A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 2:30 pm at New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson with William R. West, Jr.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, August 19, 2006 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
