Nellie Sulina Herron Oliver, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Ellenburg Nursing Center. She was the widow of Olin Curtis Oliver and the only child of the late Charlie Dillard Herron and the late Bertha Mae Moore Herron Fant. Nellie worked in textiles for 25 years before she became a Nurse's Aide at Anderson Memorial Hospital where she retired after working 14 years. Nellie was the shortest of the bunch but she was the glue that kept her family strong and intact. She is survived by her children Dale Oliver (Polly) and Diane Holland (Mike); four grandchildren, Curtis R. Oliver (Sheila) , Chris M. Oliver, and Shawn M. Holland (Emily); along with 4 great-grandchildren, Austin, Alec, Seth Oliver, and Beckett Holland. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Oliver was predeceased in death by a son, Gerald C. Oliver and a grandson, Michael Oliver. A Graveside service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Dennis Tedder officiating.
