Smith, age 83 of Anderson, SC, died Wednesday, May 07, 2008 at NHC HealthCare of Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on June 13, 1924, Miss Smith was a daughter of the late Julius T. Smith and Clara Linnie Belle Stephens Smith. She retired from Wamsutta Mills and was a member of Trinity Springs Church of God. Survivors include brothers, Ernest B. Smith of Anderson, SC and Fred W. Smith of Starr, SC; sister Helen Blackwell of Anderson, SC and a number of nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Albert B. Smith, Clarence E. Smith and sisters, Gladys Rice, Minnie G. Smith and Hilda L. Smith.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 3:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend James Patterson. Interment will follow in New Silverbrook Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.The family will be at their respective homes.Memorials may be made to Trinity Springs Church of God, 2110 E.
