Main Street, Pendleton, SC, wife of the late Archie Lee Stuart, died Friday, October 19, 2007 at National HealthCare of Anderson.Born in Anderson County, SC on April 3, 1915, Mrs. Stuart was the daughter of the late Miles Norton Whitten and Mary Ellen Harbin Whitten. She was retired from U.S.D.A. and was a volunteer for the Anderson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Pendleton Presbyterian Church.Survivors include her children, Tommy Stuart of Alabama, Loretta Moore and Howard Stuart of Pendleton, George Stuart of Townville, Roy Stuart of Anderson and Frances Littleton of Pendleton; brother, Fred Whitten of Anderson; sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Carl Raymond Stuart. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 11:00 am at Pendleton Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Reverend Bob Hicks officiating.The family will be at home of Frances Littleton, 603 Porter Road, Pendleton, SC.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pendleton Presbyterian Church, P.O.
