Nellie Ruth Hewell Wiles, age 90, of Anderson, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at her home.

Born January 30, 1934, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe E. Hewell and Leo Vannie Harrison Hewell. She was married to Garold S. Wiles until his death in 2017. She was also preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Nellie loved flowers, cooking, and working in her yard. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne S. Holley, Debbie L. Wiles, and Pam E. Wiles; sister, Linda V. Wilson; 2 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Monday, May 13, 2024, at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Mike Bruce and Rev. Hilton Hunter officiating. The family will speak with guests immediately following the service.
