Ginn, age 90 of Anderson, husband of the late Elizabeth B. Ginn, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Bowman, GA on February 8, 1917, Mr. Ginn was a son of the late John R. Ginn and Sarah Dudley Ginn. He was retired from Appleton Mill with 45 years of service.Survivors include one daughter and her husband, Jackie and Dennis Evans; one grandson and his wife, M. D. and Cynthia Gillespie; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Ashley Gillespie; two great-grandsons, Judson Gilstrap and Joseph Gillespie; a sister-in-law, Nellie Columbo, reared in the home; and her two sons, Alan Stukes and Doug Stukes; one brother, Lisbon Ginn and one sister, Kester Marchman.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by eight sisters and five brothers. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 4:00 pm at New Silverbrook Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. M. D. Gillespie and Joseph Gillespie officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.Flowers are optional.
