Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.Born in Rosedale, Kansas on April 30, 1924, Mrs. Palmer was the daughter of the late Thomas Dillard and Lorene Deuel Dillard. She served in the United States Navy WAVES during World War II and retired from the Internal Revenue Service as an accountant. She was of the Methodist Faith.She is survived by her husband, William Clayburn Palmer.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Tommy Dillard.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Paul Mitchell.
