NETTIE CAIN October 24, 1914 - January 15, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Nettie Jane Smith Cain, age 91, of 3541 Keys Street, Anderson, SC and wife of the late Levis Ethan Cain Sr., died Sunday, January 15, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Abbeville County, SC on October 24, 1914, Mrs. Cain was a daughter of the late James Lawrence Orr Smith and Elizabeth Bratcher Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of Carswell Baptist Church in Iva, SC.She is survived by a daughter, Louise Cain Tucker and her husband, J. Frank of Anderson, SC; a sister, Nora S. Nelson of Anderson, SC; two grandsons, Marty Russell Cain and his wife, Diane and Barry Dwayne Cain and his wife, Mitzi, all of Anderson, SC and four great-granddaughters, Jessica, Lauren, Caroline and Emma. A very faithful caregiver, Della Estrick of Anderson, SC also survives her.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Levis Ethan Cain, Jr.; eight brothers, Claude, Carl, James Aaron, Orin, Albert, Herman, Roy and Elmer Smith and two sisters, Lucille Hall and Gertrude McBride.The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend James Bannister.
