NETTIE SUE (LOWIE) LYON November 29, 1935 - May 9, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Nettie Sue (Lowie) Lyon, age 70, of 1004 Cox Avenue, wife of the late John Robert Lyon, died Tuesday, May 09, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Anderson, SC on November 29, 1935, Mrs. Lyon was a daughter of the late Willis Burnice Lowie and M. E. (Skelton) Lowie. She was formerly employed by Scott Company for 27 years and was currently employed by Nutra Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Homeland Park Baptist Church.Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Weems and her husband, Jim of Anderson; brothers, Bill Lowie, Ordway Lowie and Leland Lowie of Anderson; sisters, Arnettia McCoy and Sandra Duncan, both of Anderson. She will be missed by her loving pets, Olli, Frank and Callie.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 12, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Brad Ellington and the Reverend U. C. Neill. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 11, 2006 from 6-8 pm.
