Born in Anderson, SC on March 23, 1924, Mrs. Jordan was a daughter of the late Augustus Martin Jordan and Texie Hancock Jordan. She worked in textiles for many years at the Gluck/Wellington Mill. She was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her sons; Dennis L. Dyar of Morrow, GA, Millard Dyar of Starr, Paul Dyar, , Keith McCullough and Patrick McCullough, all of Anderson; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Grady and Robert Jordan and sisters, Ruby Jordan, Elvie Vassar and Ruth McCollum and a granddaughter, Theresa Poore.A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 3:30 pm at Old Silver Brook Cemetery officiated by the Reverend Jerry Nation.
