Norma Jean Forrester Adams, 75, of Starr, SC, loving wife to the late Arthur Allen Adams, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House. Born September 12, 1943, Norma was the daughter of the late Anthony Eugene Forrester and Selma Rose Morgan Forrester. In addition to her parents and husband Arthur, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Forrester. Norma worked for The Peoples Bank with 55 years of faithful service retiring as Chief Operations Officer. She had a love for farming, her family, hard work and was respected for her positive influence shown to many people throughout her life. She attended Union Baptist Church. Norma is survived by her daughter, Karen Campbell and her husband Gregg; two grandchildren, Will Turner and his wife Paige, and Jake Turner; and a great-granddaughter, Abigail. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 3 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Smith and Rev. Chad Forrester officiating. Interment will follow at Iva City Cemetery.
