Norma Tilley Crumley, age 79, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024, at her home.

She was born November 15, 1945, in Anderson, SC, and was the daughter of the late Evelyn Alice Tilley Stone. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Mack Crumley; daughter, Angela Lowe and brother, Ronnie Tilley.

Norma loved reading all sorts of books, gardening and antique shopping. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains and decorating for all holidays. For the last 20 years, Norma has spent every Tuesday with her daughters and granddaughters. Tuesdays began with visiting thrift and antique stores. Later, after much laughter, the "Tuesday girls" made time to share a meal before returning home. She took care of everyone, was known as "Nana" and loved her family, especially all her grand boys.

She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Hunter, Kelly Luper (Brad) and Lari Vipperman (Danny), all of Anderson; grandchildren, Jennifer Gurley (Chris) of Williamston, Whitney Phillips (Patrick) of Belton, Reid Johnson, Kevin Luper, Carson Luper, Nathan Vipperman, Blake Lowe and Colby Vipperman all of Anderson; four great grandsons, Bryson Gurley, Caleb Gurley, Oliver Phillips and Jonas Phillips; and her special "Possum", the cat that ran into the house every time a door opened.

The family will receive friends at the McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 1:00 pm- 2:30 pm. The funeral service will follow in the McDougald Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 pm with the Rev. Edward Hunsinger officiating. Burial will follow at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
