Norma Lee Allen Hancock, age 79, of 3309 Algonquin Avenue, Anderson, died Friday, February 17, 2012, at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Anderson, on June 24, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Lee Allen and Zora Beard Allen. She retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas with 35 years of service. She enjoyed her retirement and loved following sports of all kinds. She was formerly a member of the Anderson Bowling League and was a member of Canaan Baptist Church.She is survived by her son, Robbie Hancock and his wife, Kathy; her daughter, Pam McCullough and her husband, Ricky; grandchildren, Amy Hancock, Lee Ann Whisnant and her husband, Brad; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Carleigh and B.J. and a special friend, Guynelle Scott.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Marvin Hancock; a brother, Dude Allen and a sister, Hazel Moore.The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends Saturday, February 18, 2012, from 6 pm until 8 pm, at The McDougald Funeral Home. Mrs. Hancock will be placed in the church at 2 pm on Sunday.The Funeral Service will be Sunday, February19, 2012, at 3 pm, at Canaan Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Parnell and Reverend J.
