Norma D. Moore, 88, loving widow to the late Rev. J.T. Moore, passed to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 10, 2018.
Born in Thomaston, GA, on March 30, 1930, Norma was the daughter of the late Mabel Blakely Hardman. As a child she contracted polio, but it never stopped her motivation to live a full life. She was a devout member and co-founder of the Little Holiness Church of God where she served patiently and timelessly for decades.
Norma is survived by her four children, Terry Moore (Barbara), Lee Moore (Lindi), Ricky Moore (Patrica), and Tina Myers (Franky); 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Norma was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Jean Kinley; brothers, Leo, James, and J.B. Donald; two grandchildren, Douglas Dale T. Moore and Patrick Moore; and one great-granddaughter, Amy Lynn Moore.
The family will be at the residence of Ricky Moore, 127 Woodfern Cir., Belton, SC, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, May 13, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 14 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverends Sam Duncan and Philip Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Ellenburg Nursing Center and Patriot Hospice for the love and care shown to Mrs. Moore.
