Nortie Golden McIlvain, age 77, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Linley Park Post Acute.

Born October 14, 1947, in Clay City, KY, she was a daughter of the late Cobert Curtis and Bessie Sams Curtis. She was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Nortie was an LPN for over 20 years until she retired. She loved her job and was a caring and compassionate nurse. She never met a stranger and was a friend to many. Her life's focus was her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Traci Kelley, Sheron Whisman, Billie Mazak, Jon McIlvain, Jackie Brock, John Curtis, and Larry Curtis; 15 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held at Butler County Memorial Park in Hamilton, OH, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 10 am
