NOVELLA JONAS May 11, 1922 - September 5, 2007ANDERSON, SCMrs. Novella Goode Jonas, age 85, wife of Garland Marvin Jonas of 114 Camelot Drive, Anderson, SC, died Wednesday, September 05, 2007 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.Born in Spindale, NC on May 11, 1922, Mrs. Jonas was a daughter of the late Clarence Goode and Myrtle Clontz Goode. She was a homemaker and a member of Homeland Park Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband of the home; sons, Scott Jonas of Anderson, SC and Tracy Jonas of Iva, SC; daughter, Robin Parks of Anderson, SC; brother, Calvin Goode of Boise, Idaho; sisters, Othello Smith of Melbourne, FL; sister-in-laws, Lillian Elmore of Bessemer City, NC, Mary Flack of Forest City, NC and Ruth Wheeler of Decatur, AL; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Pleas T. Elmore; sons, Jimmy and Ronnie Elmore and sister, Lorene Keller.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with the Reverends U. C. Neil and Larry Cox officiating.
