'Bud' Kanipe, age 69, of 2633 Anderson Highway, and husband of the late Glenda Lois Williams Kanipe, died Thursday, September 14, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.Born in Lincolnton, NC, on November 7, 1936, Mr. Kanipe was a son of the late Wesley Lee Canipe and Maude Mae Bivins Canipe. He was the owner and operator of Kanipe Carpet Service for many years and was a member of Bible Deliverance Church.Survivors include two sons, Terry Kanipe and Keith Kanipe, both of Belton; daughter, Tonya Kanipe of the home; six grandchildren; two brothers and nine sisters, all of North Carolina. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Canipe.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 10:00 am at New Silverbrook Cemetery in Anderson officiated by the Reverend Manley Shaw.
