Ola Lee White Webb, age 94, known to her friends as "Lee" went peacefully to Jesus on September 4, 2017. Born November 30, 1922, she was the youngest daughter of the late John Mack White and Belle Brissey White. Lee was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lee Lollis, of Anderson, SC; one grandson, Dustin Lollis and his wife Shellie, of Marion , SC; one granddaughter, Breann Lollis Szmurlo and her husband, Patrick, of Easley, SC; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the proud great-grandmother to Brooke, Emma, and Cole. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her beloved husband over more than 67 years, Wilfred L. Webb; a wonderful son, Randall Webb; and a wonderful son-in-law, Richard Lollis; half-brothers, John Thomas, Will Frank, Arthur Woodrow, and Clarence White; and half-sisters, Clara Owings, Nina Hunter, Marie Bailey, Florine Reynolds, and Eunice Kelly. Upon graduating from Pendleton High School, she started her career as a telephone operator. After marriage and two children she worked as a PBX operator at Abney Mills for 27 years. She later worked at Stauffer Chemical Company for 5 years and retired from Electric City Printing Company after 13 years. She helped to organize the first PBX Club of Anderson, served as President and later on as State President of the PBX Clubs of the Carolinas. Mrs. Webb was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church since 1957. She was a teacher in the Sunday School Department for 60 years. She was an active member of the WMU and leader for many years of the Lily Keasler group which she helped to organize in 1971. Lee also served on many other committees. She also volunteered at AnMed Health Medical Center. The family will receive friends at New Prospect Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 with Dr. Tony Smith and Reverend Tom Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of her daughter, 4019 Old Portman Road, Anderson, SC 29626.
