Mr. Olin Curtis Oliver, 85, of Anderson, SC, husband of Nellie Herron Oliver, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at Westside Living Center, Greenville, SC.Born in Pickens, SC, on January 30, 1921, Mr. Oliver was the son of the late Ruben Crayton Oliver and the late Lenora Chapman Oliver. He retired from sales with J. T. Melton Co, and was a former employee of Ryobi and Cherokee Security. Mr. Oliver was a Veteran and was a great husband, father and friend. He was a man of God and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Anderson.In addition to his wife he is survived by sons, Gerald Oliver of Anderson, and Dale Oliver and his wife Polly of Anderson; daughter, Diane Holland and her husband Mike of Anderson; grandchildren, Curtis Oliver of Greenville, Michael and Chris Oliver of Anderson and Shawn Holland of Anderson; 3 great-grandchildren and a brother, James Oliver, Piedmont.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2006, at 3:00pm at The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverends Larry Green, Alton Midgett and Dr. Ray Grant.
