Oliver Selman Anderson, SC Andrew Oliver Selman, age 83, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at his residence. Born in Anderson County, on December 3, 1930, he was the son of the late William Lee Selman and the late Grace Black Selman Reed. He retired from Glen Raven Mills with over 20 years of service. Oliver was a faithful member of Homeland Park Baptist Church, serving as deacon, former chairman of deacons, and as usher. He is survived by his loving wife, of 64 years, Ruby Lee Shaw Selman; two sons, Tommy and Dannie Selman, both of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Nora Lee Stamps, of Anderson, SC and Willie Pearl Holley, of Iva, SC; and two great-granddaughters, Elise and Gracelyn Selman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Selman; and a brother, Truman Selman. The Funeral Service will be held at Homeland Park Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend James Strickland and Reverend Wayne Dickard officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
