Oliver "Ollie" Nicholas Thompson, 4 month old son of Kevin Patrick Thompson and Samantha Colman Thompson, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at MUSC Medical Center.

Ollie was born on October 18, 2024, in Charleston, SC. He was a heart warrior until the end and brought so much joy, light, and love in his short time here. He was a happy boy who had the most beautiful big blue eyes and in his mommy's words was simply "amazing." Ollie wrote his own story and did things his own way. His heart journey brought people to Jesus and also served to help other children with similar stories. Ollie left a lasting impact on so many and will live in our hearts forever.

He was deeply loved by his mommy and daddy; his grandparents, Don and Nita Colman and Mark and Gail Thompson; aunts and uncles, Donovan and Erin Colman, Emmy and Tyler Potepan; cousins, Van and Eli Colman, Kinsley Potepan; along with numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 6:30-7:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Father Jack Hardaway officiating. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery.
