Front Street, Iva, SC, died Thursday, August 04, 2005 at the Anderson Area Medical Center in Anderson.Born in Iva, SC on August 25, 1918, Mrs. McCoy was the daughter of the late Richard and Carrie Bruce Terry. She was a retiree of Jackson Mill. She was a member of the Iva Wesleyan Church and was secretary of her Sunday School class. She was also a member of the Golden Age Senior Quilters of Iva, SC.Mrs. McCoy is survived by her husband of 70 years, Joseph McCoy of Iva, SC; a daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Billy Davis of Greenville, SC; grandson, Tim Davis and his wife, Leslie; granddaughter, Angie Bross and husband, Jim; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Paulene McCoy; three brothers, Amos, Alvin and John Terry.She was preceded in death by three sisters, Verna Carter, Ruby Thornton and Sadie Loftis and two brothers, Richard Terry and W. T. Terry. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, August 6, 2005 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery.
