Mary Omega Gray Latham, age 86, of Anderson, SC, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at NHC Healthcare Anderson.

Born July 27, 1937, in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Henry Grady Gray and Lura Lee Madden Gray. She was married to David Pinkney Latham until his death in 2016. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Gray.

Omega loved children and enjoyed a 40-year career as a pediatric nurse. She was a longtime member of Pope Drive Baptist Church. Among her hobbies were collecting lighthouses and coins. She loved Halloween and hosting the annual family Halloween party. She was the best holiday baker and a few of her favorite things to eat were peppermint patties and pimento cheese sandwiches.

She is survived by her son, David Gray Latham; and sisters, Joanne Moore and Jeanette Faulkenberry.

A private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Dr. Matthew Danuser officiating.
