Ophine Fitch Young, 90, of Iva, SC passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Prisma Health, Greenville, SC. Born November 10, 1931, in Etoile, TX, she was the daughter of the late James Phillip Fitch and Hesta Burnaman Fitch. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Iva. Her pride and joy were her family. She was married to her late husband, Henry "Dusty" Young for 69 years and spent much of that time traveling. She is survived by son, Dusty Young (Jan); daughter, Annette Young Sanders (Bryan); brother, Donnie Fitch (Sondra); grandchildren, Morgan Chambers (Clint) and Allie Young and special nephew, Tom Young and aunt, Jo Harrison. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, O'Dee Mindiola. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 pm, Saturday, May 28, 2022 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm Saturday with Rev. Jerry Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Iva City Cemetery.
