Leon Ellison Belton, SC Oscar Leon Ellison, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born on November 28, 1934, he was the son of the late Colie Blease Ellison and the late Eula Rebecca Staggs Ellison. He was the former owner and operator of Leon Ellison Body Shop for many years. Leon was a faithful member of Neal's Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joan Fagg Ellison; a son, Dale Ellison and his wife Sandy; one granddaughter, Ashley Willis and her husband Zach; two nieces and one nephew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Dorothy Ellison; and a brother, J.C. Ellison. The family will receive friends at Neal's Creek Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. until Noon on Saturday, March 21, 2015. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:30 p.m. with Reverend Jason Dorriety and Reverend Dr. Ron Fousek officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will be at the home of his son.
