OUDIA VICKERY January 16, 1922 - October 23, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Oudia Vickery, age 86, of Anderson, SC, wife of the late Seab Vickery, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Franklin County, GA on January 16, 1922, Mrs. Vickery was a daughter of the late James J. King and Tuckie Gable King. She was a member of Pope Drive Baptist Church.Survivors include her sons, Eddie Vickery and his wife, Carol of Anderson, SC, Robert Vickery and his wife, Cherry of Palmetto, FL; daughters, Wanda Carson and Gail Shead and her husband, Tommy, all of Anderson, SC; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Charles Vickery, Sr.; three brothers and four sisters.The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Mack Tester. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.The family will be at the home of her son, Eddie Vickery, 406 Regency Circle, Anderson, SC.Flowers are optional.
