Pamela Joyce McAbee Brown, age 70, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at NHC Healthcare Anderson.

Born December 16, 1952, in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of Sybil Thompson McAbee of Greenville, SC, and the late James Richard McAbee, Jr.

Pam was a graduate of Berea High School and formerly worked for Steel Heddle. She loved beach trips, swimming in the pool, and lying in the sun. She was an amazing cook who loved her family and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Aubrey Jimmy Brown of Anderson; son, Roger Prince (Giovannia) of Easley; brothers, Gary McAbee (Martha), Mark McAbee, and Ricky McAbee; sisters, Renee Tramell (Ben), Laura Thompson, and Beth Davis (Don); 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Scott Prince.

The family will host a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Social Hall of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 307 Gower St., Greenville, SC 29611.
